4. Booking and Payments

Homestays.co.za acts as a platform connecting guests and hosts. We facilitate the booking process but are not a party to the rental agreement between guests and hosts.

All bookings are subject to host approval
Payment terms are determined by individual hosts
Cancellation policies vary by property and are set by hosts
We are not responsible for payment disputes between guests and hosts

5. Host Responsibilities

As a host on our platform, you agree to:

Provide accurate descriptions and photos of your property
Honor confirmed bookings
Maintain your property in a safe and clean condition
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner

6. Guest Responsibilities

As a guest using our platform, you agree to:

Provide accurate booking information
Treat the property and host with respect
Follow house rules and local laws
Pay all fees as agreed
Leave the property in good condition

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service:

For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
To violate any international, federal, provincial, or local regulations or laws
